Responsibilities for the Technician
Under general guidance of manager, responsible for coordinating overall Safety, Health, and Environmental management systems for a heavy manufacturing plant
Assist in the development of plant programs to promote and maintain safe and healthy environments
Devise methods of Safety Training programs that elevate Safety consciousness and awareness for all Associates and Staff
Assist in the supervision and monitoring the activities of the Waste Water Department and Staff
Analyze all new equipment and systems to understand their impact on Safety and verify/approve for operation
Communicate with associates, physicians and insurance carriers regarding Workers Compensation issues
Certify Associate’s use of forklifts and cranes
